We took the girls to Toys R Us this week so Camille could pick out her birthday gift. We've never done this before, letting her loose in a store to select the toy of her dreams (no fear. . . we had a gift card so there was a limit). All I can say it is was quite hilarious and thank goodness we steered her away from the stuffed animal isle. No, sweet child, we don't need a stuffed Snoopy dog the size of our house.
They were having a ball riding in the shopping cart. . .
Playing with the cash registers. . .
Oh, ok. . . you want a $300 Hello Kitty Jeep? No problem, because $300 sounds appropriate for a two year olds birthday gift. Needless to say, she was not thrilled that we wouldn't let her climb inside nor was she thrilled that we didn't bring this bad boy home. Maybe next time, Camille! Or not. :)
She settled on a SMALL doll house created for a miniature rabbit family. So I guess a rabbit house? I really have no idea. But it is APPROPRIATELY SIZED and has been keeping her busy for the past few days, so I'll consider it a good decision.
Enjoy your weekend!
Phew, so glad y'all didn't get her that Hello Kitty Jeep because we were totally planning to get it for her (even though you said no gifts)! ;)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the Joiners to show up with the Jeep so Avery can catch a ride with Camille whenever she wants to!
